Angelica started her career in public education as an assistant Culinary Arts teacher. Working with students developing skills in the Hospitality Field. Her students ran a full-service restaurant at school under her direction. Working within the school community led her to a career in student services. Angelica has been responsible for the day-to-day operation of the school building. She has worked with thousands of
students throughout her 24 years in public education and enjoys working with all of them.
Community outreach has always been a part of her life. Her parents taught her that one should always give back to the community and help those who are less fortunate than oneself. Following their example, Angelica has worked with Meals on Wheels, Hope Church’s food pantry, and community outreach services within schools. She spearheaded back-to-school “fill the bus” events within her community to ensure students were prepared for the school year
